Why we do it.

The concept of Curry Tub comes from a love of enjoying good homestyle traditional meals with family. Growing up in India in my house food was freshly cooked by my mother or grandmother every day and we all ate together. This was a time to enjoy dinner and connect with my family, I have wonderful memories of these dinners, recipes and taste. Food was very simple, freshly cooked, balanced, wholesome and delicious.

I wanted to share with you the same goodness of fresh and healthy cooking, traditional recipes my mother and grandmother used to prepare those delicious meals using freshest ingredients. There are plenty of Indian restaurants here that offer Indian food but that’s not Homestyle. Homestyle Indian meals are freshly cooked, nutritious, not greasy, tasty and wholesome. Food that is eaten at mealtimes in homes across Northern India is not easily available here.
